This painting was inspired by the colours and the quiet of night. I love seeing my surroundings by the light of the moon, and having a new appreciation for their simple beauty. With this piece I played with abstracted shapes to represent the movement of air and clouds around tree branches. The strength, complexity and beauty of trees will forever be an inspiration in my work.
