Lithography is a traditional method of printmaking where the image is drawn onto a flat piece of limestone using grease based crayons or washes, and is then etched using a chemical process. For each individual print you need to ink up the stone, register your paper on top, and then run the paper and stone through a press with 30,000lbs of pressure to transfer the image onto the paper. From this drawing I only created 8 prints, and then erased the image from the stone to never be printed again.
